Sueli Biography – Career 

I am Teacher and Coreographer, graduated in Dance from the Faculty of Human Motricity in Lisbon, Portugal.

My journey in dance began at the age of 9, when I participated in school performances and soon discovered dance with the support of my family. It was an instant passion.

I had the privilege of traveling the world with various dance companies, performing in styles such as samba, salsa, sevillanas, and also Oriental dances. This international experience solidified my career.

In 2007, I took an even greater step by creating my own show, Imortal Egypt Show, featuring dancers trained by me. Additionally, I developed my own veil dance technique, which has become my artistic signature. Throughout my career, I have won several awards in belly dance competitions and, to this day, I am recognized as one of the best belly dancers in Europe.

I had the honor of learning from icons of belly dance, such as the Belly Dance Super Stars group, as well as participating in courses and workshops with celebrated artists in this field.

My experience opened doors in the artistic world. In 2001, I participated as a supporting dancer in the telenovela “O Clone.” From then on, I became involved in numerous television projects, collaborating with networks such as Globo, SIC, and TVI in both Brazil and Portugal.

Today, my mission is to share the charm and tradition of dance, inspiring others and keeping this rich and glamorous form of expression alive.
